Executive Director
Pat McCarty
Pat McCarty has been supporting the local area for the past 7 years as Guy in the 419. With the support of his wife and children, Guy in the 419 aims to help shine a spotlight on the great things Northwest Ohio has to offer. After partnering with KaZooby creator, Rick Allen, and recognizing that there is a lack of financial education across the country, Pat helped create the Youth Financial Initiative.
His drive behind founding this organization is to help his children have a more secure future but understanding the basic financial concepts that were never taught to him.
“I want my children to have a better quality of life by being financially secure.”

Events & Engagement Director
Samantha Easton
I'm a dedicated Stay-At-Home Mom to my two wonderful daughters and a supportive wife to Christopher. My passion lies in equipping our children with the knowledge and experiences I wish I'd discovered before turning 25. In today's rapidly evolving world, our youth deserve guidance to navigate confidently. As parents, we aspire to offer our children more opportunities than we had. That's my driving force—to make that a reality. I've been a perpetual student, exploring diverse roles across various industries. These experiences have broadened my skills and sparked new interests. Among them, the roles of a wife and mother, demanding diverse skills. To fulfill these responsibilities, I'm constantly learning, volunteering, and expanding my horizons. As I evolve alongside my family, growth remains my constant companion.
